2018 Ford Escape Review, Interior, Changes

The all new 2018 Ford Escape is set to revolutionize the Ford feeling thanks to its aesthetic yet freshening appearance that will no doubt bring out the best in 2017. The 2018 Ford Escape will come in three different trim levels which include: S, SE and the Titanium version. The SE version will include a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine which is not present in the other two versions. Alloy wheels, satellite radio and powder driver seats will also be available in this version. The Titanium version on the other hand, will be more of a luxurious car thanks to its high level leather seats, automatically powered windows and 3 touchscreens which are synched to provide information and entertainment (infotainment).

The 2018 Ford Escape in general will come with a hexagonal grille which will incorporate highly active shutters which in turn will improve and minimize fuel consumption. Titanium rims, highly defined and sleek headlight casings are some of the new designs expected to come with this car. The internal section of the car will be kept quiet thanks to the Acoustic side glass. The presence of larger rear dampers as well as new linear springs will cut down the car’s physical appearance.

The interior has been designed in such a manner that it creates more room and space for the driver. The previous manual brake lever for instance has been replaced with a much simpler electronic brake which creates more space for handheld electronics. A newly designed steering wheel also comes with highly improved and well incorporated switchgear. Safety features will include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane-keep assist and lane-departure warning.

Though the base model comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, the other two models Ford SE and the Platinum trim levels maintain the previous engine version which is the 1.5liter which comes with 4 cylinders and EcoBoost. 2018 Ford Escape this engine improves fuel economy and maintains a quiet riding experience.

2018 Ford Escape Release Date and Price

The 2018 Ford Escape is expected to hit the market in spring 2018 and the retail price will begin at $23,600.
